# Edit videos with Kazi

> Kazi is an assistant that works on the web, on your phone, by text and in meetings. Connect cuttingfloor once and Kazi can edit your videos: it cuts your footage, adds captions and music, looks at a preview to check its work, and sends you back a finished MP4.

## Add cuttingfloor to Kazi

### Kazi (Web, phone, text and meetings)

1. In Kazi (app.apifunnel.ai), open Servers and add your own server.
2. Paste the address and choose Connect.
3. Sign in when the cuttingfloor page opens.
4. Or skip the menus: ask Kazi to connect the cuttingfloor MCP server at the address.

Server address:

```
https://api.cuttingfloor.ai/mcp
```

- Free through Kazi: an account connected from Kazi gets cuttingfloor for good.

## Then say what you want

```
Cut my video to the beat of the song and add big captions. Make it vertical for Reels.
```

## Edited in Kazi

- [Cut a dance video to the beat, with no copyrighted music](https://cuttingfloor.ai/demos/edit-a-dance-short-to-the-beat) ([Markdown](https://cuttingfloor.ai/demos/edit-a-dance-short-to-the-beat.md)): A dancer gives Kazi four takes of a Motion Party-style routine. Kazi makes an original beat, cuttingfloor cuts a new shot on every bar, slows into the big move and puts each move’s name on screen: a 23-second Short.

## How do I connect cuttingfloor to Kazi?

Ask Kazi to connect the cuttingfloor MCP server at https://api.cuttingfloor.ai/mcp, or add it under Servers in Kazi. Sign in when the cuttingfloor page opens, and Kazi can edit.

## Can I edit from my phone?

Yes. Kazi runs on your phone and by text, so you can send the footage and ask for the edit from wherever you are. The finished video comes back as a link that plays in any browser.

## What can Kazi do to my video?

The same as any agent on cuttingfloor: cut by what you said, remove pauses and restarts, cut to the beat, add captions and titles, music and voiceover, remove a background, steady shaky footage, and export for Reels, TikTok, Shorts or YouTube.

## What does it cost?

Start free for 3 days, no card. After that, plans are on the pricing page.
